Just come off presenter academy 25/26 with Steve, he was and still is absolutely amazing very knowledgeable and opens your eyes to the industry , on new ideas and how to differentiate between teaching a class and presenting. It was the best experience with the best group so much support literally like a big family helping and supporting each other on the journey during and after into the future . Giving me the inspiration to develop two brands of my own and with Steve’s advice even after the academy has finished is still steering me in right direction of how to progress this , best guy ever

Taking part in the 2026 Presenter Academy was honestly a game changer for me. It pushed me out of my comfort zone and gave me a level of confidence I didn’t know I had.

The whole Academy group was incredibly supportive, welcoming, and genuinely invested in each other’s growth. That environment made such a difference — it felt like we were all building something together.

For me, it really got things rolling. What started as just a fitness class concept is now becoming something real, something I can actually see taking shape and growing. My own brand concept!

Winning the EMD UK Rising Star Award is something I’ll treasure forever. It still doesn’t quite feel real, but it’s a moment that means so much to me.

And a huge part of this experience was Steve — his knowledge of the industry is next level, and learning from him was invaluable.

Being part of the biggest European fitness convention? That’s proper bucket list stuff.

I’ve been part of Steve Watson’s Presenter Academy for the last six months and honestly, signing up has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. I was already confident teaching and speaking, but I wanted something that would push me to the next level, help me break be a new concept out and help me move from the class to the stage… and that’s exactly what this has done.

From the first session, Steve creates an environment where you feel completely at ease, while at the same time challenging you to raise your standards. He has a way of making what feels like a big step forward seem completely doable, and there’s always plenty of laughs along the way, which makes the whole experience even better.

I actually first trained with Steve back in 2000, and after returning to the fitness industry last year (2025) following a 15-year break, it felt absolutely amazing to learn from him again and I’m so glad I did.

What I love about the academy is that it’s not about changing who you are, it’s about building on what you already have. Steve gives honest, constructive feedback and really takes the time to help you develop your own style rather than trying to make everyone the same. You can tell he genuinely cares about seeing people progress, not just as presenters but as people.

Over the last six months I’ve seen a huge difference in myself. I feel more polished, more confident on a bigger stage, and much clearer in how I deliver what I want to say. It’s helped me move from teaching in my comfort zone to feeling ready to step out and present to completely different and larger audiences. Absolutely loved presenting on the stage at IFS.

It’s a supportive group, a great atmosphere on every call, and something I genuinely look forward to. If you’re already speaking, teaching or presenting and know you’ve got more to give, I can’t recommend the academy enough. It’s been a brilliant experience and I’m really so grateful I joined.

Highly recommend. Steve is nothing but kind and helpful and wants you to succeed; he gives his time and effort to support you fully in becoming a presenter. Knows what to say when feeling nervous and puts you at ease. It’s been great ?

Like many others I’ve aspired to get into Presenting but had no idea how/where to begin. Steve’s mentorship helped massively in guiding me with how to take those next steps and my Presenting career has bloomed because of it. I’m now equipped with the tools needed to be more confident in not only myself but to be able to approach event organisers. His ongoing support, knowledge and experience within the industry is invaluable.

Doing the presenter academy with Steve taught me so much. It opened my eyes to the presenter life but also made me go back to basics with my own teaching within the community. I stripped everything back and then built it back up under the guidance of Steve. Through doing the academy I was introduced to many people who have helped me and continue to help me improve as an instructor and also break into online teaching and set up a good website. I found the social media side of things difficult as I didn’t like being on Facebook so much and uploading posts all the time and then checking my likes ect. Teaching at IFS was incredible though and the feedback I got was immense. I probably won’t go down the presenter route much more though as I’ve decided my community classes are where my heart is - I have no regrets though. I have become such a better teacher now and the things I’ve learned will stay with me throughout my career. Thanks Steve

I took part in the 2025/2025 presenter academy. Definitely recommended for any fot pros who wish to get into presenting or just take their career to the next level. The zoom meetings are regularly scheduled with replays set out promptly for catch up if you can't make the live. Throughout, Steve gives tasks to do and offers feedback on those tasks - from refining choreo/music, to creating promotional materials, so you will definitely come out of the experience with tangible new ideas and promotional materials to help you move forwards as a presenter

After 25 years in the industry I needed something more and the Academy was life changing. It took me on a journey to be a better, more confident instructor & enabled me to share my passion on the big stage at IFS, an opportunity I may otherwise not have had. It took me out of my comfort zone but I’m thankful for that, as I enjoyed every minute of the 6 months of the Academy leading up to the event, and presenting at the actual event itself.
Steve is the best mentor you could ask for. His knowledge & skills are unfathomable, he is a pleasure to work with & his ongoing support & encouragement is so valuable. I highly recommend this if you are ready for the next step in your career, you won’t regret it!
